Well - It's 7 o'clock and I receive a text form J telling me there is no need to bring any records as he has picked out a selection that is so juicy that the man from Del Monte would say " GOD DAMN THAT'S JUCY " . Now - I know J has one of the best collections of soulful house records I have ever seen. If he has selected the very best "bits" than I could not miss out on getting a recording.
After an iffy start due to various technical difficulties ( Mostly caused by me setting up the recording equipment in a hurry ) the night was awesome. The first couple of hours I just pulled out random records from J's Boxes and every one was an absolute winner. Then when the night got into full swing I busted out some of the newer and tuffer stuff from the likes of funkerman and the shape shifters. Then brought the funk and breaks out for the last half an hour
The whole recording was just over 3 hours so I have split it into 3 parts to make downloading less tiresome. You can also download an unmolested version here
